Parts of Area Housing Market still Red Hot – Davidson

Homes in the lower price points are still flying off the market.  This home in Cornelius, listed at $249,900, went under contract the same day it was listed.  The listing agent, Clark Goff of Allen Tate Davidson stated, “My client was thrilled.  A quick sale fit her needs perfectly.”

While homes in this price point frequently make it to the market in adjoining towns, people looking for this price point in Davidson need to be ready to pounce.  Clark Goff commented, “We prepare our buyer clients by making sure they are pre-qualified for a mortgage and we prepare them for multiple offer situations.”

It would be nice if our public servants, the police, firemen and teachers, could afford to live in town.  As more and more people migrate to the Lake Norman area we’ll continue to see pressure on the housing supply.
