Davidson, NC Kindred remains an excellent option for lunch. With reasonable prices and scrumptious food, there is something there for everyone. Of particular note is the skillet burger, a double patty affair with cheddar cheese, grandfather pickles, onions, and aioli sauce. Arguably the best burger in the Lake Norman area, you can’t go wrong for $11.00. You also get your choice of side from a fairly extensive side menu, including cucumber salad, potato frites, coleslaw, and pickles. Davidson, NC. OK. I am guilty. Whenever I talk about Davidson I say how great it is to be in a college town because of the great cultural opportunities. But, I rarely take advantage. This time is different. I like all music, but Americana music is special. When I learned Sierra Hull was playing at Davidson College next April I went to youtube and checked her out. I know she was considered a virtuoso mandolin player at age 11. Now she is an accomplished touring artist in her 20s. Check out these youtube tracks.
