Ok Davidson. We all love our town, but this housing market is crazy. Average home prices were up 37.8% over the past year (March to March). Months supply of inventory is 0.5 months. 6 months is balanced. This is a SELLERS market. Data Source: Canopy MLS
Want to test the market? Try an Allen Tate Firm Exclusive. No sign in your yard. No listing in MLS. Neighbors won’t have a clue. We just market your home quietly within Allen Tate. Given we are the #1 Real Estate Brokerage in the Carolinas we probably have a buyer who is desperate for a home and is willing to pay your price.

DFM’s prime market season is in full swing! With 36 vendors, the variety of foods and goods is vibrant as well as the operations of these local, small businesses. Its a sight to see and a testament to the fervor our surrounding area has for local, North Carolina products.
If you attended or missed last week’s market, I want to remind everyone about our temporary layout during construction on the new gathering space behind Summit Coffee. Here are a few things to know to make your shopping experience the fullest:
You can enter the market from multiple locations (there is not a designated entrance or exit to the market);
There are three rows of vendors: two in the Jackson Street parking lot and one in the grassy area next to Davidson Family Medicine;
You can access the third row from Jackson Street with our designated cut through and re-enter Jackson Street at the top near DFM’s shed and market tent;
If you’re looking for a specific vendor and can’t find them, you can ask one of our Green Team Volunteers (the folks in green shirts) or stop by DFM’s tent; and
Market hours are 9am – Noon.
Speaking of volunteers. It takes a lot of dedicated volunteers to help setup and takedown the farmers market every weekend. Their generous help is tremendous and Courtney and I are so grateful to work with such kind and fun people. If you would like to volunteer this Saturday or any weekend this year, you can sign up here or email Courtney directly to learn more about DFM’s Green Team.
See you all this Saturday, rain or shine!
