Davidson, NC You may have noticed the new sign on E Rocky River Road announcing the latest phase in River Run’s development history. Town homes and Single family homes will be built on the 16th fairway near the golf course maintenance sheds. We’ve learned that they are targeting spring of 2018 for construction to begin.
Peachtree Residential will be the builder. The homes will feature gourmet kitchens, luxurious owner suite spa baths, 2 car garages, and professionally designed exteriors. The early pricing we’ve seen is in the low $400s with an initial offering of 5 City Homes and 9 Town Homes. We think this new phase will appeal to the upcoming empty-nesters who currently call River Run home and want to downsize, but keep the River Run lifestyle. The only reservation we have is that all the homes are currently planned with Master Bedrooms upstairs. We hope that this can be adjusted to have options with Master Bedrooms down.

Summit at River Run was originally approved July 26, 2004. Infrastructure was added shortly afterward. With vested rights per the infrastructure, the plan has recently been revived for review by Mecklenburg County and the Town of Davidson. Construction will likely begin in the fall of 2017.
